I must admit I haven’t read anything from my summer reading list as indicated here.
There have been plenty of library visits with the kids, browsing bookshelves, treasure finds at HomeSense, and browsing the Goodreads friends’ reading lists to see what everyone is reading.
I am definitely a mood reader. But I also enjoy a challenge.
The Goodreads reading challenge is a perfect way to break away and try something different, which is what I have done during the summer. My Goodreads profile is constantly updated here!

I have one more book to go, and it’s this one I’m reading for the Debut Darlings Challenge (Goodreads has a list of all qualifying books for each challenge).

From a dazzling new talent, the story of a newly divorced young mother forced to reckon with the secrets of her own childhood when she brings her daughters back to the big house where she was raised.
Then I have a few eARCs, 2 courtesy of NetGalley

Deathly Fates by Tesia Tsai, and Brume: The Dragon Awakens by Jérôme Pélissier.
Yes, I know. I have a lot on my plate at the moment. However, I enjoy multitasking with my books and reading a few at the same time.
I just needed to post something, to let you all know that I haven’t forgotten my blog. I’ve been pre occupied.
Did I also forget to mention I recently finished listening to the audiobook for Sunrise on the Reaping?

I’ll do a more formal end-of-the-month reading wrap-up once August ends!
Have you read any of the books for the Goodreads reading challenge? Is there a book you would like me to read and review?
