Review Policy

Reading and providing reviews for others is something I enjoy doing. When looking for a book, I often head over to GoodReads to check out ratings and reviews in hopes of finding the right fit for my mood. It is difficult to find trigger warnings and reviews that provide age-appropriate tags, especially since I am a mother and always browsing the shelves at my library for books my children will enjoy. That is why I want to include those in my reviews, and will continue to do so for my visitors.

I am a regular at GoodReads and a member of NetGalley with over 80% Feedback ratio, having read and reviewed over 15 books.

Rating System

All reviews are rated on a five-star basis:

5 Stars – Perfect. The writing was impeccable. The characters had depth. There was a story that kept me hooked. By the end, it left me satisfied. Hardly any faults. A rare find! Highly recommend!

4 Stars – It was great! I really liked it. There were some minor flaws, but I would still recommend it to a friend! (One of my best ratings to any book)

3 Stars – Right in the middle. It was neither good nor bad. Someone else might enjoy it more than I did.

2 Stars – I struggled reading this. It wasn’t the worst, but there was a lot of room for improvement. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

1 Star – I either lost interest, did not finish it, or hated it a lot. I would not recommend. I don’t want to give negative reviews, but this one is unfortunate.

A half-star rating may be given if it falls between the two numbers of stars.

All reviews posted on my blog will be cross-posted to GoodReads and my social media apps, such as Instagram and TikTok. I am happy to post on Amazon as well, if requested.
